Badlands brochure

In 2023, The Art Gallery of New South Wales hosted a film series called Badlands, featuring rebels and outlaw in cinema. Desert landscapes, strict code, crossing boundaries and breaking the rules, this series celebrated the unruly.

Challenging what it means to be an outcast, this brochure design flags the Americana alluded throughout the series. Patriotism is parodied. The Red and Blue, opposites collide and the sharp triangular shape of the program allows the reader to play with the brochure, like toy guns.
